Like most other kids growing up in PEI, your father was a fisherman and fishing was a passion that came natural. Being a charter boat captain gives me the pleasure everyday go showing the world what a great Giant Bluefin Tuna fishery we have. I enjoy meeting the great people who become friends and return each year. I have fished for lobster, crabs, herring and tuna in my 15 years as a captian.

My most memorable fishing moment is when I caught my first Bluefin Tuna as Captain of my own vessel. Hands down … a thrill of a lifetime! I have a great family who also fish and a supportive and loving wife, Bonnie. I have three children, Ben, who loves going out to fish and my girls love the beach!

In my spare time we try to enjoy some fun activities with the kids and of course, being Canadian we spend a lot of time at the rink coaching and watching hockey.

Our goal as Bruce Brothers Charters is to provide the ultimate in service and give you the thrill of a lifetime in hooking a Giant Bluefin Tuna!
